Note: the short pickup box provides less clearance between the cab and 5th wheel trailer compared to long box pickups. The receiver centerline of the hitch should be mounted at least 2" forward from the rear-axle of the truck chassis. When selecting a trailer and tow vehicle, it's critical that this combination provide clearance between the cab and tow vehicle for turns up to and including 90 degrees. Failure to follow this recommendation could result in the trailer contacting the cab of the tow vehicle during tight turns. Gooseneck hitch compatibility: the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Prep Package (53W) is compatible only with the factory orderable Gooseneck Hitch Kit (15J) or dealer-installed Ford customer accessories Gooseneck Hitch by Reese - part #BC3Z-19F503-A (8ft box and 6.75 ft box).

The 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat with the Lariat Ultimate Package, Sport Appearance Package, and fifth wheel prep is what happens when a luxury suite and a bulldozer fall in love and raise a child on a ranch in Utah. This truck is not here to play. It is here to haul, flex, and politely crush any obstacle in its path while keeping you cozy enough to forget you are technically driving a land yacht.

Under the hood roars a 6.7 liter Power Stroke turbo diesel V8, belting out 475 horsepower and a brain-melting 1,050 pound feet of torque. That is not a typo. That is the torque rating of something that should be wearing a hard hat and answering to a foreman. It will tow a fifth wheel, a sixth wheel, and probably your neighbors shed if you get a good angle. With fifth wheel prep, it is ready to tow up to 22,000 pounds without breaking a sweat, which makes it perfect for hauling your RV up to Bear Lake or dragging a horse trailer through the Alpine Loop like a boss.

Inside, the Lariat Ultimate Package turns the cabin into a leather-clad command center. Heated and ventilated front seats? Check. Heated steering wheel for those frosty Utah mornings? Absolutely. A 14 speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system to drown out your trailer chains rattling behind you? Yes, and it hits harder than your cousins garage band. There is a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and power running boards that drop down like they were designed by NASA engineers with strong opinions about convenience.

The Sport Appearance Package makes this beast look less like a farm truck and more like a gym rat in a tuxedo. Blacked-out grille, black mirror caps, and 20 inch wheels that laugh at potholes and chew through dirt like trail mix. Whether you are rolling through Heber City or backing into a campsite near Zion, it shows up looking tough and clean even when coated in red rock dust.

This truck is made for Utah living. It crushes mountain grades on I-80 without breathing hard. It shrugs off blizzards in Logan. It owns muddy pastures and campgrounds, and it looks at steep canyon roads like they are speed bumps. You can hitch up the fifth wheel, haul a ton of elk meat, blast heat to your toes, and still stream podcasts on a touchscreen that feels like it belongs in a private jet.

This is not just a truck. This is a rolling power move. It is ready for work, ready for play, and ready to remind everything else on the road that it has already won.

      Ford F250 Lariat Tremor

by Benny on Monday, July 14, 2025

Absolutely love everything about this truck! Built to handle anything you throw at it! Packing a 6.7L High Output Diesel with a best-in-class 500 HP & 1200 lb-ft of torque! Drives smooth, able to tow up to 23k lbs, and looks great doing it. Outstanding road manners, both on-road and light off-road. No issues whatsoever on its first 12k Miles & counting. Sound/infotainment system is fast & user friendly. Interior is well mapped out and seats are supportive, yet comfortable. Pano sunroof is a nice touch. Lariat trim is the sweet spot concerning amenities & dollar-for-dollar value.

      Excellent value for the money

by Robert on Monday, November 03, 2025

I was initially looking at an F150 for about 2 years, but with the options I wanted, it was out of my price range. Then I saw the F250 with the majority of options I was looking for plus a few others and it was in my price range ( I paid cash). Sticker price was 63K, I was able to get it for 55K out the door, on New Years Eve. After a test drive I decided this was the truck for me. It has great visibility all around, excellent towing capacity and the 8 foot bed was exactly what I needed. It has the 7.3L gas engine and the 10 speed transmission, plus the upfitter switches enabling to add many other optional items. The other options included were heavy duty front suspension, 360 degre camera, power folding mirrors and a 48 gallon fuel tank that allows me to drive over 700 miles on a tank, and many more items. Has great power to tow almost anything with power to spare. Of course it rides like a truck as expected and the fuel economy is not the greatest (12 city, 18 hwy) without towing; towing a trailer (5000 lbs) mileage was (10 city and 15 hwy), which still isn't bad considering the weight. Overall I'm very satisfied with the truck, only one Con is the turning radius is not great, especially with the 8 foot bed and 176 inch wheelbase.
